We have been down in the bunker and found the last few Pyrex glass test tubes (which we had forgotten we had!) each containing a selection of 3 early to mid-20th Century (or thereabouts) radioactive Uranium watch hands. They are embedded in clear acrylic resin so you can light them up with the small UV torch we are giving you.
The rubber bung has also been sealed with resin so there isn't any possibility of it coming adrift any time soon. The tubes measure 12cm long by 2cm at the top.
These would make great gifts for the budding nuclear scientists out there and fans of all things weird and wonderful. Once they are gone - that's it!!
Now for the serious bit: We must point out that these are NOT toys and should be kept away from young children and babies. Also, because of their potentially fragile nature, radioactivity and various countries' rules and regulations etc, we are restricting sales to UK customers only. We have also been asked to advise you to not store these in your underpants....
They have an average CPM reading of 165 measured over 1 minute on a GMC-320 Geiger Counter.
