We've been down in the bunker and managed to find just 2 of these booklets for you. This is a rare opportunity to own a paper copy of the fast-disappearing original 60's Civil Defence Handbook N.10, so get one now before it's too late...
First published in 1963, this original paper copy of the booklet was distributed at the height of the cold war. It’s packed with really handy advice on what to do following the threat and in the aftermath of a nuclear attack.
We have acquired a rare stamped copy marked 'Doncaster Civil Defence Corps, 58 Cleveland Street, Doncaster' with the number 197 written on it. If you would like this copy please select from the drop-down menu when ordering. It has been used, but the overall condition is fine.
There are 1 or 2 slight marks here and there but, apart from that, it is in very good condition: fortunately it was never used in anger...
All of the questions you would be dying to ask are clearly answered, including what happens after an H-Bomb explosion, how to construct a Fall-Out room, what to do about water, food and sanitation, guarding against fire and flying glass, how to manage in the days after (sadly nothing on the zombie threat) and what to include in your fall-out shelter first aid kit (Aspirin and talcum powder are high on the list…)
We also have the modern reprinted version if you would prefer. Click here to take a look.
