It’s our brightest
torch yet! This powerful two-in-one torch features a CREE Q5 LED which pumps
out an incredible 270 lumens in the white light mode; that’s enough to light up
objects more than 100 metres away. Lightly press the button on the base and it
switches instantly to UV mode (roll your mouse over the photo to see it in
action), with two UV LEDs providing enough light to make uranium glass objects
glow, check security markings on banknotes and credit cards and meet all of
your forensic investigative needs – you'd be surprised at the things and stuff
that glows when exposed to UV light…
But we digress: don’t be fooled by the small
size, it'll slip easily in your pocket but this is a seriously powerful torch; don’t even
think of looking at the white beam! It’s really tough too, housed in a
weatherproofed black anodised alloy case. It comes with a wrist lanyard plus a pouch and belt clip. It’s powered by two 3v
CR123 Lithium batteries, these are readily available in the high street and
online, and they last for ages, thanks to the highly efficient microchip driver
circuitry.

It's our most powerful ultra violet torch yet with no less
than 41 UV LEDs! They’re arranged in two banks; press the button once and the
central 21 bulbs light up. If you need a boost, press the button again and
the outer ring of 20 bulbs fire up as well. Of course it can be used to check
antique Vaseline glass, light up the security strips, and check the validity of
banknotes and credit cards, but a torch this bright has plenty of other uses,
from revealing dirt and contaminants in your kitchen and bathroom -- and you
would be surprised what you’ll find, even in the cleanest of houses -- to
serious forensic investigation.
Remarkably the torch is powered by just four AAA cells; it’s really tough, made
of heavy-duty alloy throughout and it’s water-resistant too.

VITAL STATISTICS
The vital
statistics are: length 145mm, the beam head is 53mm across and the main body is
35mm in diameter. It comes supplied with a wrist lanyard and battery holder and
as usual you will also receive free of charge three Uranium/Vaseline glass
marbles that really glow when exposed to UKV light. The weight without
batteries is approximately 250g.
This is the latest addition to our range of ultra-tough
torches. There are 10 Super Bright white LEDs, 5 Ultra Violet (UV) LEDs plus a laser
pointer in the centre. To switch between the 3 modes press the power button on the body of the torch.
You can use the UV
mode to check the validity of bank notes and credit cards. If you just want to see
where you’re going – no problem - you can fire up the bright white LEDs and one more click activates the laser beam.

must point out that the beams from this torch are very bright indeed and it's
unwise to stare at them. It is not a good idea to point the laser at people, or
cats (it drives them wild!) and you should definitely NOT aim it in the
direction of passing aircraft.
This one has the lot! 12 super-bright UV LEDs, a
tough silver-grey weather resistant alloy case, rear mounted on/off button
switch and it’s fitted with a wrist lanyard. You’ll also receive a tube of

Introducing the latest ‘bright idea’ to our wide range of UV
torches. Designed to fit on any key ring it measures 6cm long with the
bulb coming in at around 9cm in circumference.
The batteries will power the torch for a long time with
normal usage. It’s powered by 3 mini ‘button’ cell batteries that are easily
replaceable by unscrewing the top of the bulb.

Bagley Carnival 1930's Uranium Glass Bowl (S021) £9.99 inc. UK p&p
Here is
a rare opportunity to own an unusual piece of radioactive history. We have acquired a
small stock of genuine 1930's Art Deco style glass bowls, made by the Bagley
Crystal Glass Company of Knottingly.
The
beautifully fluted green bowls measure approximately 13.5cm across. They are part of the Carnival
collection and made from 'pressed' glass, doped with small amounts of
radioactive Uranium (it's also known as Vaseline or 'Depression' glass). The Uranium gives the bowl a distinctive lustre in sunlight and
an eerie glow when exposed to ultraviolet light. Roll your mouse over the picture to see the effect. The glass remains mildly
radioactive and registers on our more sensitive Geiger Counters (CDV700,
Radex, DSRB-01 etc), with slightly elevated counts above background
levels. Nevertheless they are safe and legal to own, though we strongly
recommend they are only used for display and testing purposes and, like any glass object should be kept well out of the reach of
children.
We will include one of our UV key ring torches with each bowl, so you
can see the remarkable glow for yourself. Stocks are very limited so order now
to avoid disappointment.
This is the longest UV LED torch in our range, made from Aluminium it measures
almost 9-inches (220mm) from the beam-head to the screw metal end cap , and to give you something to look at you will also receive a tube of 2 Uranium marbles. It’s
tough, weatherproof, powered by 3 AA cells and available in a classic black or natural

About Vaseline Glass
Vaselineor Uranium Glass has a yellow green hue in
daylight and fluoresces bright green under Ultra-Violet light.
Production of Vaseline glass in Britain began in 1835 and ceased by the end
of the WWII, but a small amount is still manufactured in the
USA and Czech Republic. Uranium glass is weakly radioactive but it will produce
a response on our Radex RD1503 geiger counter.
